A Woman- a bird

Poem of fourteen lines written by the artist describing a bird bearing a 'message' which can easily be associated with the subject matter of several of his engravings and paintings depicting a young person holding a bird.
Translation into English by Louise, April 2013.

A woman

A bird

What foreboding

What message comes from

You, bird of joy

Or of sorrow

Your wings are in flower yet

Your eye is tearful

What are you telling me?

I believe you are saying

I believe that you are whispering

Silently

The immensity that are the celestial walls.
